I would say someone has fitted it to your engine, because its definitely not factory XR8 Have a look at the EGR ??? The Cobra inlet has intergated EGR.. The Sprint is seperate like Explorer inlet... The also have coolant pipes through EGR where Cobra doesn't.... There flow rates are much the same though.... It seems its the lower where there is any flow restriction...

Consider a 351 from Suburban imports ?? Not cheap but by the time these things add up ????
In a ute a raised bonnet bulge would look o/k ? BA style ..... Required for extra height of 351...http://www.suburbanimports.com.au/
