i have read in the article about the jim mock eb that they use an el upper control arm which is an inch or 2 inches shorter than the eb unit to get the pinion angle down to aid traction on the strip. would i be right to assume that the ef unit is the same length as the el one, cause if it is i wanna put it in my ef fairmont to lessen the pinion angle so i can help lose traction a bit better. any help will do thnx

theres a bit more to anti squat than two inches of the traling arms and a few ways to get good traction using anti squat, personally i dont like the idea of facing the pinion downward for the one fact that if you ever chip a gear or there is some other forien matter in you housing is going to go straght into the pinion gear and crownwheel, better to weld some new brakets on you diff housing with a few diffrent holes and download yourself a anti squat calculator and have a play. here is a link download the demo and have a play if anything it will give you a idea exactly how it works http://www.performancetrends.com/4link.htm

i dont really care about actually having traction, cause the motor is stock (it wont be in 6 months though) i want to LOSE traction a bit easier is all cause on some patches of tarmac it'll fry em good, and others it will struggle so i wont to lessen traction a bit more so that i can pull better skids
