hey,
I have just recently changed the brake pads over on my xh xr6. I put bendix premiums on. Since then when i am slowing down/taking off, i get like a howling noise. Only happens when im going around 10km/hr. I took it to a mechanic and he has told me that the brake pad compound is too and told me to change them to bendix CT. So i change to them and the howling noise is still there. Has anyone got any idea on what could be causing this?

thanks,
Bazzo

make sure your handbrake has fully released , if you can pull the arm lever thingy back a fair way chances are your handbrake mechanism is sticking, common problem with that setup and causing your brakes to ride,

also it could be worth pulling your back rotors off and cleaning the dust and s**t out of your handbrake assembly.
