Autopro and places like that keep 6 cyl ones on the shelf, they may have the V8 ones also - don't know if they'd be as cheap as $35, but wouldn't hurt to check.

thanks snap0964,rang around and repco-coventry spares have them,a lot more $$$$.i need it sunday :( :( :( but my parts boys have a similar one to fit V8 HOLDEN so will have a look to fit it,should be similar.week end repairs and chasing parts.the 6 cyl ones use 2 hoses with the valve,v8s use 4 hoses, but 2 may be a fixed joiner moulded into the fitting,so the single valve may work.

NP. I was thinking the same thing when I posted - I can't see why you couldn't put a 6 cyl one in, and have the other hose a straight through.

Unless there's something there we don't know about . . . :?:

I have an NF Fairlane V8 - so I should have the part you're after. If you wouldn't mind shooting a pic across to me, I can confirm for sure.

Thanks,

Justin.

can be done that way,but use brass-stainless steel hose fittings, not plastic-although the valve is,mine cracked and split on 2 hoses, and fell apart on removal     short life span.
