Heard so many stories of an edit making the car run worse, is there a restore point they do before doing an edit? an edit is just updating of the fuel/ignition maps? or is it better to get a edit done on a dyno? not that there is a dyno here, only a Fraud dealer.

Edit can update a hell of a lot more than fuel and spark tables.
A dyno wont help if the tuner doesn't have a good understanding of the Ford EEC. |

So if Ford whack it on their machine, they SHOULD know what they are doing? all laptop work i presume?

Unless Fraud have employed a tuner that is familiar with the Edit software and tuning procedures they wont know what they are doing. Most tuners are more familiar with one or maybe two types of tuning gear, most specialize.
