Ok the climate control in the EF has gone crazy.
First for about 3 months it had no display or anything but 1 or 2 times it just turned on by itself.
Then last week it kicked into life i can turn it on and of the display works but i cant change the temperature so its stuck on 20.5 but a bad temp but i would like to be able to adjust it.
So does anyone have any ideas, im hopeless with all this fancy stuff i need pushrods and a holley and i tend not to trust anything with more than 4 hoses.

You can dismantle it and clean the touch pads with metho and a cotton wool bud. I'd say the temp touchpads may be dirty.

The LCD screen may be cactus, or the solder connections may need redoing. The other thing to check is the bulb and bulb holder - if the connections are a tad dodgy, your screen lighting will be intermittent.

Because the bulbs are 5watt, they do get hot, and over time, the rubber surround gets a burnt colour, and gets brittle.
