All brand new and ready to go. Ive opened the packaging to make sure its complete, and it is.
$60 - buyer to pay freight. rrp is $109. This is a UHF antenna that is mounted to your windscreen. There is no way you can break this sucker. The LASER CLEAR transparent on-glass antenna is an innovation that is a superior alternative to the common on-glass antennas. It is mounted on the inside of the windscreen and when placed in the fade-to-clear tint region found on many vehicles, it becomes virtually invisible. Note that “after factory” tinting which has metallic film and is usually placed on side or rear windscreens, is not suitable for this antenna. * UHF CB, Trunking and Scanner applications * Power rating - 25 watts * Covert - hence vandal proof * No wind noise or car wash problems * Maximum efficiency due to direct connection to cable, as against through glass coupling. * Complete with 3.6m low-loss coax and PL-259 connector What you get: * 3.6m of low loss RG58 Coax PLUS PL259 Connector fitted. * High Quality M3 Adhesive stick-on aerial (fitted with low profile connector) * Alcohol wipe to clean glass before installation * 1m small Coax (get you through those tight spots) ALL POSITIVE * Use it for Commerial Two-Way radios * Use it for Scanners * Use it for UHF CBs * Vandal Proof * No Wind Noise * High Power Rating (25 watts) * Virtually Invisible * Fast Easy Installation * High Gain Specifications * Frequency Coverage - 390 to 520MHz (Great for UHF CB) * VSWR - 1.1:1 at 467.9000MHz * Power Rating - 20 watts * Coax - 3.6m Low Loss RG58 (PL259 Connector fitted)

So this antenna wont suit cars with already tinted windows?
Or can it be placed on the front windscreen? |

it can be placed on the front windscreen
if you put it on the passenger side, or behind the rear view mirror it would be ok. ive got photos on my camera, but the data cable is at work, so ill upload them in the morning.

thats not really something you can answer, its its dependent upon a heap of different things, radio, wiring, elevation of the car, position
its 4.5bd gain though.

you could take it off if you are careful, i have removed one of these before and refitted.
Can be done with the use of a razor blade
