Look good I have painted mine with Pot belly black If you can get a pot belly stove cherry red and sill be black the next day and last for years it must be good. I found this to work on bikes as well and they are out in the open more than car exhaust.

I have used that Dulux Pot belly stove black. Looks good too, its sort of a charcoal look, not really black, I used it on my ol CB900F 4 into 1's.
