I just got my car converted to gas at cresent motorsport (site sponsor), its an air rod system, its an ef V8 and to say the least im very impressed with the outcome, slight loss of power as expected but overall i couldnt be happier, it all looks nice and neat too.

Quick question to all you lpg people out there, does it really matter where you fill up gas from? my previous falcon i used to fill up anywhere and it ran fine, but i like this car a bit more than the other and i want to try and maintain it as much as possible. So is there really a mixture of different ratios outthere in gas we pump at servos?

yeh there is. I use mobile and BP when i can. They run well in my car. But not sure if they all use the same type of LPG. Only way to find out is to test them all.

Has it got the air rod variable piston mixer on it?
Myself and Waggin hunted for these this time last year and they had stopped making them, Joe didn't have any either.

Funny that you have mention that I have been given one from MED ''who used to be able to supply them'' to go & get them remade again through my contacts as this is going to be a very slow process, meaning manufatoring & shipping costs etc....... I'm going to try & get them happening again as they work better that any fixed mixter especialy when it comes down to making HP...

Ah you pisser, i want an 80 mm the second they become available.
That's the one thing that killed my car, the power drop on petrol was noticable the second i put the mixer in.
