because its for a burnout car and the 4sd hate the heat and wont handle it...... (killed two in my ef both spun bearings mate killed one in his el also spun a bearing and heared off a few more that have died too) and before you say it i do oil changes frequantly both were well mantained

Seriously.... Did they have big coolers... i did about 3 million skids in my EB1 and they were not pissy s**t... did about 60,000km on that auto of pure flogging and it shifted like new and it got written off at 232,000km woulda loved to c how long it woulda lasted.... but it ran a big cooler. not even a shift kit. These autos can take s**t.

Otherwise there is nothing electrical you need 2 do if your worried about that??? Shouldnt the C4 bolt straight up to it with the v8 bellhousing?? Just need 2 worry about the mounting and the tailshaft... The shifter could be a prob. Hopefully some1 will know.

lol im pretty harsh on em but like waisting a new set off 185 in a single skid n what not and about 5/6 sets a month .... but you could be right my ef only has the stock in radiator cooler so you think with a big cooler with a 6 '' theomo over would allow for a lot more punisment on a dedicated skid car

When doing burnouts you must get into top gear ASAP not 1,2 or Overdrive if you want your transmission to have any hope of surviving!

Running a C4 would be similar to a manual conversion.

Same mods to the ECU.

You can probably use the Ford 6 Cyl Cable kickdown stuff (on the V8 box of course) with a modified cable for kickdown if you need it, otherwise you get a full manual valve-body and you should be fine as well.

Thats about it I guess. Did I mention have fun?
