if you've never done it before or dont know much about it, dont
and if its worth $30? id say the grinder would give out before the head. and then you'd have a f**k head and a f**k HEAD

number 1 rule with tools: cheap and nasty just wont cut it. I've had my fair share of crappy tools in the past but now I only get the good stuff with good reason. Especially if you dont want to screw your head.

The whole point of headwork is too know what your doing, do each port/chamber exactly the same and be able to flow test the results all to have a more efficient flowing head.
If you dont do these things, especially if your not flow testing...... your just pissing in the dark!!! I see alot of people doing their own head work, and i reckon if they actually had before and after flow testing, theyd most prolly find they made it flow worse!! |

Can be up to $1000 plus labour in some cases.
Money better spent on a cam, exhaust and intake for cheaper and better results. But in saying that, if the head gasket must be done, then you might as well do the headwork while its off, but thats if your serious about the other mods as well. I would just do the cam and exhaust first though.... |

I dunno mate.... my brother 'p****d in the dark' and he got pretty good results: With any air die grider, make sure the air compressor is upto the task, die griders use a lot of air.
