Im gettin a set of 18" chromies off a mate. We chucked one on the front of the falcon (EFII) to see how they looked, then we hit a problem.
The little circle cap in the center of the rim pops out when pushing the rim onto the studs and this ugly gray thing protrudes where i want to put the center cap. Ive heard you can easily get spacers to push the rim out a little which would work, but im worried at the amount of thread left available and reading the new Modifications Standards brought out by QT Quote: The fitting of spacers or adaptors between wheels and
hubs, additional to those provided by the vehicle manufacturer, is not permitted. Has anyone else come accross this? what can be done? Can the gray thing that sticks through be removed? Sorry i for not knowing the correct technical terms! cheers |

Are the wheels the correct pre-AU offset??
Assuming that they are, I would suggest an aftermarket centrecap that can cover the hub. |
