why do you need to know the size of BA/BF head bolts? 40 bucks for a set from repco
also try repco for the head studs to buy a new head |

The head bolts on a BA/BF are a Torx head type with a captive flat washer. They are also shorter than E & A series head bolts.

the reason good head studs arnt readily avaliable is because they are metric... arp only make imperial.
the thing to do is tap the block to suit a .5in arp stud

hey m8, my email has changed, probably why i havent got what youve sent me. one really good thing about the thread differences of the metric to .5in is the major diameter of the metric (12mm from memory) is exactly the right size for the minor diameter of the .5in thread... this means that you dont even need to drill out the holes, just run the new tap into them
