just get a BA XR snorkel for $30 form ford, will give the same gains. The tickford AU XR8 snorkels with the "T" wings are no longer available from ford...

All just cut a nice neet square hole in the front of your airbox tray to suck air from behind the headlight. Whatever makes you happy.

I queried ford spare parts up at springwood (QLD) the other day about AU xr8 snorkles and they said they have them available for $42.

I will have to go check this out next payday methinks.

also-

what is the difference over the standard AU snorkle with these?

1. Xr6
2. Xr8
3. SS

??

is each one larger than the one before it?

I have the SS inductions on mine, it has a HUGE air hole in the side of the box. It does make some difference but definatley not $220 dollars worth. I was lucky and got mine for $70 second hand :D Id just go a tickford Xr snorkel or a BA typhoon box and intake.

I would go for an exhaust before you do the intake, and if you are gonna do an intake i would just get a XR snorkle or typhoon snorkle and then cut a hole on bottom of your airbox and have a 3inch pipe down to vent down the bottom of your bumber
