just wondering if theres an easier way of changing your oil pump without taking the engine out? i bought a new high volume pump because i recently got the head race prept and the oil pressure has dropped. there's an ugly...... "no oil sound" coming from the head. and every now and then mostly when it hasnt been started in a couple of days theres a loud ticking noise in the head not tappets but it sounds like someones goin all out on it with a screwdriver, and that sound was there before the headwork! one more question: will the high volume pump blow me head gasket? cheers folks.

LOL at "theres nothing". I have personally answered this question 1/2 a dozen times. Put some effort in.

I did a search for "oil pump" and look what came up
