i have 2 inch lowering blocks in my 66' Xr and have reset the springs an inch aswel. was 110 to rest springs and lowering blocks were about 70 bucks a pair. Resetting springs would be the better option by far.

Seing as you have an ea, i wouldn't bother with lowering blocks.

Get the springs reset, lowering blocks will keep the rear suspension travel the same as standard, while at the front you've stiffened everything up. This makes the car drive like a boat, i had this trouble with my xf.

By the way, the biggest lowering blocks you can get are 4", get in from burnin customs in queensland, not sure how much.

Cheers
