I have a 95 XR8 i will be soon supercharging it with most likely an eaton M112 (something different) i am also thinking of running LPG due to the higher cylinder presure. any sugestions on LPG converter sizes? i am planing on running a draw through setup for simplicity.
Thank You |

at least single GRA510 or impco 425
better to use twin gra440's or twin impco 425's B2 or E converters VFF30 vacuum lockoff tank flow will run out at some point dependant upon weather, and fuel mix. there are ways around this. I would say starting with a single 425 and model E converter, using a VFF30 lock, would be the simplest and easiest to tune. Impco is very easy to tune, gra is not, but gra is much easier to package, as impco is bulky. |

Agree with above, but not sure how a 425 would go with forced induction?
I'd also recommend the E convertors, they pump s**t of gas through, they originally came out on the factory 460 in the Ford Louisville and also ran the 425. |

Ive heard that the GRA's once set dont often have to be retuned.
Is this correct? |

most will tell you otherwise, impco is the best to tune, gra is hard to tune, and requires knowledge and machine work to get 100% correct, for example, in the ACT there is nobody that likes the GRA carbs for blow through forced induction, its not that they dont work, its just that the tuners hate tuning them, sure they can but they recomend against them for that very reason, impco, anyone can tune.
Seriously I'd use impco if you can fit it in, GRA is smaller and more compact, both will deliver good perfromance. |
