hey,

just wondering if anyone is interested in some fiberglassed speaker mounts for front doors. they will be 6x9 in size an will be 3d shaped, making them up next week an if anyone wants some ill make a mould. Will bolt on into original holes once stock covers are removed.

Also i am doing a complete carputer setup, with a 7" touch screen fiberglassed onto the triangular piece above the stereo, and a custom box which houses dvd-rom, computer and a pair of splits, which will be finished within the next 2 weeks an installed, but if any one is interested in any internal mods like this or similar im interested to give it ago an make a few moulds to mass produce an make interior modding of the BA simpler an effective.

Plan on createing a part which fills in the tissue box holder an below it so normal cd decks can be installed or anything else say tweeters etc, an will just screw in as a direct replacement for simplicity.

Will get some pics up within the next week.

any extra idears appreciated, i have a XLS 04 BA Ute

^^^^ Agreed - you'll probably find you'll get better sound quality from 6 splits in te front anyway, i would only really recommend 6x9's if you a) have no sub or b) want noise rather than quality sound

cause ive made a unit which already has splits in it which sits in between the 2 seats an u can get good quality sound out of 6x9's if tuned right which everyone assumes the sound quality is lower from them..

Atz88 - where did you mount the 6 inches?? im looking at buying a ute when i get back home, and im looking at mounting an amp in between the seats on the back wall and then making some fibreglass sub enclosures behind the seats! So i would be interested seeing pics of what you have done!

Good luck with it
