Hey guys,

I currently have a garret gt35/40r, external gate, manifold and 600x300x76mm cooler. I want to run about 6-10psi. So from researching I think I need to get aftermarket injectors around 42lbs size and preferably an aftermarket fuel pump. Now my question is who is a good tuner/workshop to install a chip in melbourne and also sort out my oil feed and drain lines as I don't feel confident doing it. I dont really have the money to go aftermarket ecu at this stage hence why I want to go with the chip.

Cheers,

-Damo

save up for the aftermarket ECU, a decent on starts around $1000. A chip won't cut it for what your asking, you have spent good money on the other hardware so don't skimp on the tune and risk very likely damage

Drivability is great, fuel comsumption hasnt really suffered either, I could still get about 500kms out of a tank.... I also got a Kaaz LSD put in with 3.91 gears, cruising along at 100 its doing just over 2000revs.... The car basically drives like a stocker when it not on boost.... But put your foot down and it flies.

Good luck and the cost ????
Did they add a rising rate reg of 12 to 1 and limit spark advance???
By the time they charge for this ..A proper ecu would have been roughly the same.. What injectors are you runing with std eec...??
Converting to LPG helps...
To get full potentual you need atleast 30 Lb injectors...
42 Lb even better....

Basically Ive running the Snort Performance Stage 3 kit with a Stage 4 manifold..... But your right the Switch chip eliminator cost $600 and then some to tune so it probably works out the same...

But Im just saying it can be done without an aftermarket ecu.... My car runs perfectly I couldnt be happier with it..... However it could do with some bigger injectors as thats the only thing holding it back at the moment.... We'll be doing that in the future, along with an EL XR kit and full respray.....
