where in brissy are ya man, i have converted mine to a manual too, was a bit fiddly, but I used the auto harness and cut a bit of the manual harness and got it all working that way.
neutral safety switch is on top of the gear box at the front by memory. and the reverse sensor is at the side on the left hand side.

so what did you use off the manual loom and auto loom? if you could draw up a sketch or some out something. really killing me having no car as well as can't wait for a manual.

I used an ea wagon box loom. I cant remember what i used, but i know i didnt use the neutral switch cos i hate those bloody things. Im over at virginia/zillmere/cashmere lately, so if you want i could meet you somewhere and show you the wiring harness i made up
do you have a manual ecu dude?

yeah you do. if the car wont start its probably because the ecu thinks the car is in gear or not in gear.
Keep your eye out for a manual ecu, as they make the car run farq loads better than a modded auto ecu
