ok so ive been havin a few niggling issue with my xr lately, first, well, although minor, i havnt had it seen to for over 6mnths, is that my driver side highbeam isnt working, and no its not the globe, as it randomly cuts in and out, say as i go over a bump or two it will work, then after a while it wont work again.
now the other nite i noticed that my driver side brake light does not work when i have the lights turned on, yet if if turn my lights off, it works...so it not the globe thats gone. does anybody hear have any sugestions as to what it may be, keeping in mind that im not very hands on when it come to anything like that. im considering taking to down to my local dealer, BS Stillwell in Medindie and gettin them to go over it and fix just those two issues, reason being i dont wana get the cops to notice faulty brake light and then pick up on the other defectables on my car, any idea on how much coin this is likely to set me back sorry if this is the wrong forum...thanks in advance to anyone that helps |

bad earth in the headlight or a blown globe.
Tail light, you need a new globe, theres actually 2 lights in one globe. hence, tail light works and brake light doesn't. Go buy new globes and replace em, spray a lil lube in the contacts too. think of lights as safety, and always renew as pairs. A good local mechanic should only charge about $20 labour Plus globes. You may even score a good'n that'll just charge you parts and do it on the spot.
