how involved is this? i have a mate with an AU ute that he wants to set up to go off road. he was thinking of using larger tyres (i.e 4WD tyres) and a longer shock with a bigger spring on the origional suspension set up. this sounds a better option tho.

realy i didnt know you could get bigger springs  thats why that was the origional idea. the question now is is it viable to put the RTV suspension under the AU ute or just go with bigger tyres shocks and springs on the standard set up or swap the whole thing out for the rtv stuff??? just looking into the best options. and i dont mean the cheapest either. the bloke who is doing it is a real stickler for new parts and for having things perfect. money isnt realy a problem unless it runs over say about 3-4 grand. he loves his ute and wants to continue going off road in it without having to wory about clearance etc like he does now.
