I'm after some factory wiring plugs for my xr. Mainly the maf connector and the one the o2 sensor plugs into. both plugs need to be the same as whats on the loom.

is there anywhere that sell these sorts of conections, i already tried ford and they cant help :S

So 2nd hand ones from a wrecker not an option ????

no one wants to cut up a loom. i thought id see if i could buy em separate before paying how ever many $$$$ for an eng bay loom. find me wrecker that will do this and ill gladly use 2nd hand plugs, doesnt fase me just as long as the work.

i need to replace the connectors on my loom as the passenger side o2 sensor must have been leaning on the exhaust manifold and melted the s**t out of it, so much so that i cant disconnect that sensor from the rest of the loom. same thing happened to the maf connector. :S

all good now, rang around 20 wreckers this morning but they all wanted to sell me a complete loom, the last guy i rang was more than happy to cut up a perfectly good loom :S but yeh one maf connector and one o2 sensor conector set me back $50. changed both o2 sensors while i was at it. car seems to run a bit smoother now, will have to wait and see what it does fuel economy wise. cheers again for the help. :D

NP - yeah, they're not really difficult to replace.

NP. O2 plugs should be everywhere, but MAF's, as you say, not so common.
