I am looking at fiting an AU bottom end into my XG ute IF it can be done, sorry for asking butI have seached the forums and I cannot seem to find any info on it.
Also can anyone tell me if an E Series sump is the same as an XG so I can mod the sump for the oil drain.

*BUMP* please I need an answer in a hurry as I think I have killed my engine.

the XG is basically an EB/ED motor with XF mounts the thing is that the sump is different but being a XF chassis i don't know about the crossmembers etc etc or k frame not sure if it would be an issue..... can i suggest just get an hybrid EL engine and put the XG manifolds on etc etc and there should no drama putting it in and there would be about 20ish kw gained (maybe) and a little bit better preformer then the standard XG motor....
