Hi all, I've read the tech doc but I'm a bit unsure of things like the volts guage and how it will work. I can't seem to find a plug wiring diag for the Ghia cluster to compare. I know I need an oil sender unit using the same connecter as the oil switch. The resistor, yep, know about that one. Low coolant and window washer - got that. Is there any thing else I need to be able to update? Thanx in advance.

you have to put the resistor in the back of the board : )

yep thats all.
The volts and Oil guage use the existing connections from your futura cluster. You MAY have to add a wire from inside cabin loom to the cluster to add the low washer level warning. other than that.... change the oil sender, add the resistor to the cluster and its all plug and play.

do all models have the low coolant sensor plug there ready to just plug into the sensor?

GLi Models with ABS have the engine bay connector, but no dash provision.
Futura's XR and Fairmont get the hotdog with the lot.

Then It'll have the Ford Cruise Control Wiring kit P/N EF-10C975B
Or a dodgy home made setup!

Thanks for your help guys. All set to go when the Ghia cluster arrives. FYI, had trouble getting the 1 watt 47 ohm resister but the electronics guy told me that the ohms was the key. The wattage can be more but not less than what you require. Makes sense. Oh, and by the way, it doesn't matter which way you solder it in. Thanks again
