I have just got an ex taxi on dual fuel to find a number of problems
1) the lpg switch operated the central locking 2) the fuel gauge raises to full then drops to empty 3) the car would only run on gas not petrol as the injector wires were disconnected found another lpg switch above radio, but only switch and no indicator light, fuel pump wires off, fuel cap rusted on. So I've replaced fuel Tank, pump/gauge assy, lines x3, rail and injectors. Wires to gas system have been cut. A new wire ran from under the water resoivor on the green relay and connected through to the gas tank with branches going to the gas converter, by a gas tech to get it passed for rego because he said the supply was not fused ! But old wiring still there has a 3amp fuse (blown) near the battery and 7.5amp in fuse box not doing anything. SO WHERE WAS THE POWER COMING FROM. Does any one have a wiring diagram so I can change it back to original plz

Just came across this post, and have had the same prob when I got my EL, was really shocking what they did. I will try and answer your probs in order...
1. the central locking connector is of the same plug type and is where the current swich is (check a normal car you will see what I mean). Your car probably had tickford LPG (factory) and they have installed another brand convertor to it and did a bodgy job of it. 2. quite simply the arm in the LPG tank is probably stuffed and will need replacing (common problem) cost about $100 to get fixed and you need the tank empty to get it done (takes about 20 mins I'm told) 3 As above they done a bodgey setup. the green relay is the fuel relay (designed to cut fuel after 2 secons or so if engine not running). power is coming from the green relay to operate the gas solonoids. hope this answers a couple of your questions.

yes thank you. It has a Valle convertor fitted and the have taken power from the green relay and cut one wire off each solinoid and linked them all together and ran them to the gas tank. Leaving the original wire from the loom disconnected and the LPG button doing NOTHING.
Thanks for this I shall chase further.

Wrong! they have tickford developed ECU's but are not XR. Normal ECU's have maps for normal and economy mode, where as Factory Gas ECU have maps for Petrol normal & econ mode + LPG normal & econ. maps switch depending on fuel used, that way can alter timing/advance etc depending on fuel and also turn injectors off when in LPG mode.

the gauge problem could be the lpg gauge in tank not working in s**t wiring to your gauge. if it is interfaced prob using a relay and itsprob not working. use a multimetter and check the ohms aacross the tank prongs.if it is a 2-176 resister should read between that. if a 0 -90 should read between them
