Is there much difference between eagle and scat cranks?
I am looking at 3.85" cast ones.

There shouldn't be but I'd get a Scat any day over an eagle.

Yep I'd agree with Pete.

From what I've been told both are cast in China :D but the Scat is machined in the US and the Eagle is done in China, so take you pick but I have a 9000 Scat and it miched up perfect.

I have a Scat 9000 series crank for my 383, engine machinist was very impressed with its quality and finish.
I dont know anything about Eagle gear, so I will pass on commenting on them.
