Hey guys,

Recently got a 2.5" catback on my ED. For some reason (this was happening with the stock exhaust, but is now much more noticable) when I rev the car up and let it drop back down, it makes this f@rt noise, sort of like it wanting to backfire, but just a diluted version of one. It's annoying, and I want to fix it.

I think my cat is screwed, but hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction?

Cheers!

Box? Like I said, it was always there, just louder now that the catback is louder.

It could be because you only have a muffler and no resonator that its causing a popping sound. Not sure but just an idea.

Mines just started doing the same thing on a standard exhaust, it sounds like something is shaking around like a loose bracket or somthing but everything seems to be in order and all tight...
