hi i have a eb falcon with dc ltd everything inside including looms and 5lt engine but my problem is that i have a early 1992 dc which did not come with smartlock option so i wanted to know what i would have to change to have smartlock. is it possible to get a later ltd loom and plug in to my instruments or would i have to cut and join wires. or would i have to get a later bcm and plug it in. any help would be great


also if i use a later bcm does that mean i have to change the ecu to because thats how vr calais is

you can put any BEM in if you run a non-smartlock ecu.

it would be possible for you to use a second BEM for central locking and smartlock only. you also would need a smartlock key barrel, which is compatible with the BEM being used.
