Mod bug struck.

Wanting to run my ideas past a few people....

AU3 XR8.

Currently stock bar twin 2.5inch cat back system and SS CAI.

Looking at a extractors/cam/tune package to begin with.

Extractors
Either PH 4001s or HM103SS. I can source the HMs cheaply. Any reason not to go HM?

Cams
Not much experience here... but cut it down to the Crow 621371 or Crane 2030 or 2031.

As the money and time becomes right hope to build on the XR. Will remain a Sunday driver.

Any advice, opinions or feedback appreciated. A few people have said do the heads before cam. Haven't got gold to do both.

save up and do it all in one go....coz your gonna have to pretty much do the job twice as the best bet is to machine the heads for double springs....have a look at comps range of cams ......quicker ramp up than the cams youve listed
