Already had a set of king custom winds to go in the car. wasn't expecting to do so this soon as I was still saving for shocks.. as well rears are now in.. takes all of about 1 hour or so with a beer and a smoke.

Spring coils was collapsed as well.

Rear shocks $117 pair. standard Monroe gas. will get them revalved down the track monroe bodies are ok the valves for bump and bound are s**t.

I know a guy who does customer springs and revalving I think he is now around the Waterloo/Mascot/Alexandria area in Sydney. I have to look him up again myself.

Basically I want a stiffer bound and quicker bump. pretty much mean I want a stiffer shock, the valves are made smaller the restrict fluid flow between chambers.

When I locate him I will find out if he wants to take on other work..

You are looking at about $100 or so for the rears.. at least thats what I am expecting as I have valves done on another car a while ago, but they were already firm.

thats crazy.. i would have followed the car that the wood came off and make them pay for it. put them in to the cops for not securing down their load...

117 for rear shocks + 130 aprox for springs... thats 247 bucks worth of stuff you shouldn't have to pay for

RODE LIKE A b**ch.. Gave me an excuse to put my new springs in though.. Custom wound progressive springs. I didn't see the truck that dropped the rubbish, I think it was bouncing round in traffic causing mayhem..

Some young kid in a EA wagon picked up 2 flats from it. he wanted to buy my spare, but did not understand that $40 for a EL GT Mag with new Yokohama rubber was not going to be enough.

Poor Kid. Could not help him, I would not get my wheel back, said he had no phone, no cash, and said no I could not follow him to a service station or home cause he did not want me to know where he lived.
