Try one from a XG ute/pano.

I'll be tackling this very shortly with a 4.0 into an XF, I do happen to have a XF T5 cross memeber, but its actually in the car and I'm not near it.

Are you sure you've got it bolted up to the right place? From memory there is at least two different places to bolt them up to under an X series
(but my memory is hazy) :?

The EA-EL 6cyl T5 bellhousings have a different part no - 87DA-xxxx, where the XF bellhousing has a part no - 86DA-xxxx.
I don't know if this will be an issue, but may be wise to check it - I think it's been answered on here before though.

They have a totally different bolt pattern too. Where it bolts to the block.
