gday guys just finished making/ installing my trip computer, i have wired it all correctly and stuff just wondering will i notice the gear change say going from p to drive??? or p 2 reverse, because i cant rteally tell the diff?? and its not economy : ) thnaks in advance

economy or not wont make a difference.
you shouldn't feel anything till it swaps in 1 to 2 and 2 to 3

haha yeh thats wat i wanted to happen as it says in shift kit diy it keeps flow for more firm shift. well changing from p to d is a shift... and didnt feel anything thats all i wanted to no

Sorry but a trip computer won't change your gearbox shift hardness.

ooo haha wtf sorry dun no why i wrote trip, should be shift kit... hmm sorry started new job 6.00 till 6.00 and getting home at 8.30 and its killing me. how is p 2 d not a shift. going from park into drive. well is reverse into drive a shift?

ok eayst way to explain what a shift kit physicly does is it makes gear shifts(as in 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 or even when down shifting much quicker and firmer) you wont notice any diffrence going from p-r or r-d etc.
if you want the wheels to spin going from p-d then rev it to about 4000rpm and change to d while your foot is on the acclelertor

Yeah, don't rev your motor then slam it from P or N into gear.. If you wanna do a burnout, use the brakes instead. If you've got room, just turn the wheel fully one way and plant your foot down.
