hi, just changing my eb seats to ef and i am not sure if i need to change runners or just bolt straight in ,thanks

I think from memory the runners need to be changed.

the back seats went in no problems,but the ef front seat runners where they bolt to bottom of seat are 35mm wider than the eb

I just used the original runners. Cut off the rear mounting and cut it down to get the right seat height and rewelded it back on, then welded a small plat on the front to allow the front bolt to match the hole.

is there a difference between the ef falcon,fairmont and fairmont ghia seats ,the ones im trying to install are leather.thanks

the rails are all the same. ie EA-ed are the same ef/el are different to EA-ED. The mountings are different not the slide rail. So they will all bolt to any seat you have to adjust the height and mounting to suit seat height etc as floor pans were different.
