Not a fan of fiberglass but hey it isnt that hard

been working on my GT wing to get it fixed and painted for next month.

had it sitting outside it only needed 3 cracks fixed and one hold the size of a 1c coin, i had it sitting on my BBQ and i went out to start the small repair and found the wing had fallen of the bbq and when i picked it up i saw the edge above the break light had caved in, oh well better then than later.

Found they used norm s**t bog on it who ever tried to fix it last time, so off i trot down to supper crap and score myself some fiberglass bog.

its great has all the fibers in it worked well and cures hard as a rock. here is the progress so far.

HAHA! nah that's all right,I just need to touch up my front bar one day when the weather's abit more stabble, hate painting in the rain.

I just have minor repairs to do on the front such as stone chips and some small cracks on the corners where it bolts up under the indicators, nothing really noticable the main things are the CHIPS.

I just need a break from it after doing my rear bar and matts front gt bar!!

when you spend time on other peoples stuff you dred doing your own i know i do,

i gave up working on cars and building motors here 7 years ago i said i would never do it again.

Well i guess i was wrong when i found this car lol.

but i am limiting myself to small work on it, any thing else id rather pay to get it done than save the money.

too true mate!! but I don't mind doing project jobs as they can be fun doing and seeing the final product is rewarding.

I don't mind working on cars as long as it's not all day every day! but I do like doing custom projects,it's just great to see what you can come up with when you put your mind to it..

as to limiting your self to small work that sounds like a good idea to me, but your car is coming along very nicely!! good to see it come together..there's nothing like DIY......

i love DIY i like to see people add there own touch to there car, its all to easy to go pay a panel show to do all the work for you but that will not show what you have put into it.

since i joined this forum i have seen a few projects done here by people that didnt know a lot and when finished to see how proud they were and the people around them that could do it.

nothing like saying i did it myself and it shows
