Check all fuses. I had that problem the other day becasue I was mucking around with the blinker relay and fuses. A fuse may have just dislodged itself. Check ignition fuse and starter fuse.

Electrical stuff can be so annoying.

it just winds over, but really slowly, no clicking or anything.. I jump started it took it home, went to turn it over an hour later, just wound over really slowly, and got slower..

Im thinking the blinker problem is the flasher unit and a short at the tail lights, Might try to clean the earth wire up a bit??

Can't see why she is draining the battery now though.. Could it be the short??

Cheers

ROFL, that is pretty funny,

but yeah dude, sounds like some live wires are grounding out somewhere as well if your battery is draining, is there a volts gauge on the ZH?? if there is, could try turning the key on, and getting someone to watch the gauge while you shake wires around for the tail lights and blinkers/headlights etc,
i am guessing the volt gauge will respond somehow if there is something earthing out, then you move it

your battery isn't stuffed is it, my ef had one last year, it'd start ok once you charged it up, but it had an internal short that drained it.
if you jump start it with jumper cables, does it instantly crank?

In my day if we had a fault/s we would firstly repair any thing that looked like it might be faulty,
suspect earth then we would remove the leads and clean them and refit.
then if there was still a problem would ask a profesional for his oppinion.

alright.. update;

checked the battery acid fluid, all the cells were full.. So I jump started it and it went first go.. I disconected the negative terminal and it died straight away, so my guess is its the alternator.. ??

some cars won't run if you disconnect the battery while the cars running.

on an old fairlane the battery can get drained really easy by something small. I would say that u have a bad earth, although if the battery problem is related you must have a short somewhere. after jump starting the car test if the battery is charging or not, either the battery isn't charging or is being drained after the car is turned off.
