hey there,does anyone know if EL falcon rear brake backing plate bolt to the XF flange(XF diff),have XF flange and want to put the newer brake setup on as they are a better setup,if anyone knows and would like to share that would be appreciated,thanks heaps

I reckon the EA to ED have a better parkbrake setup than EF, EL, AU.

I have to agree.
I've installed a ED diff to an XF, I ended up keeping the ED brakes.

Come to think of it, the EA diff is the same one in an XF, as are the trailing arms. But if you use the EBII and ED diff, at least you can drain the diff oil without taking the back cover off.

Just had another thought, you will need adaptors to fit the later diffs, as the lower mounting bracket is wider than XF and EA.
I have an EBII diff housing in my EA.

thanks for the reply's.but i mean leave the housing and just swap the brakes,does this work,not running a handbrake setup either,just want to know if the el brakes will bolt to the xf diff housing.
