i was just wonder how to fit and adjustable camerkit cos as iv lower my elxr6 not sure if it super lows or ultra lows but the wheels are under the arch back n front, i was told by the wheel aligment joint that its got like 3 degree camber so i was wonder if you can put the camber kit in your self at home ie what will it take n how to do it?? it kings springs with pedder shockers if that helps

probably easier to get them to do it as you will have to get an alignment after you put it in anyway.

Adjustable ones are usually Shim type, metal plates are inserted between the body and the suspension arms to get the correct camber.

when i got mine done a couple of years ago on my EL labor was about $40 a side i think.

Thats about all my knowledge on camber kits. :?

theres two types, the metal shim adjustables and the kmac ratchet type
best of getting it installed as said you need a wheel allignment to make sure its tracking true.

metal shim type are cheaper, simpler and easy to adjust.

If you go down this path add 16.5mm of shims to each adjuster,
ie: 4x3mm and 3x1.5 it's easier for the adjuster to remove and have an even amount.

That camber sounds pretty good.....for the tight twisties...lol...........but seriously they aren't that hard to fit. I have SuperPro kits on my 88EA.
They don't turn to powder like Pedders, OEM or Nolathane.
Here's a pic, with the stub alxe out of the way.
On EF, EL, AU, you need to take out the airfilter box assembly to get at the nuts for the LH ones.

There is actually 3 types. I recently installed the Nolathane worm type kit in my EL. Cost for kits was about $160 both sides and in my opinion are very good with plenty of adjustment as opposed to the shim type.

Nah they were pretty simple, jack up front, remove wheels, undo 4 inner nuts per side then swing wish bone around (undo nuts on passanger side from underneath or remove air box to gain access), remove 2 bolts per side from wish bone. Adjust new kits to original and install as above but in reverse. Remember to mark old kits front and rear so you put the new ones in correct spot. This adjustment is only to get you to a tyre place for wheel alignment.
