If you use a 65mm t-body from a Falcon you will need to port the EGR spacer and intake throat to match. If you use one from the U.S. you will also need to modify the ball position on the throttle bellcrank because it's(normally) on the other side.
Don't use larger than a 70mm t-body because you will reduce performance. A 65mm t-body will increase peformance on a stock engine even with the stock 55mm MAF. Pete. |

Only GT's and Sprints had the 65mm. |

so if i go to a 65 tB i will not need a retune or a upgrade to the ECU.
reason is im just looking into doing mods that dont need a ECU upgrade im also hopeing to put in a better cam on the stock ECU but not sure what top get, anyone have any idea on what and were.

That photo doesn't show too much. Although it appears to be an EB engine even though it says it's an EL job. EL's don't have 40p's either.
It's got an EB alternator. Throw that rotten hot plate away too. |

It's got an EB alternator. Throw that rotten hot plate away too. its an EL XR8 job, it cam out of an EL xr8 wreak, less all the other stuff power stering pump inlet and alt. motor had only done about 20k after rebuild b4 its owner met fate with a power pole.

OK it'll have a stock t-body and E7 heads unless someone put 40p's on it.
Easy way to tell.... if you have 40p's, the spark plug angle will be almost 90degrees to the head, if not they will be about 45degrees. |
