hey all i just got my car back 2day from getting fixed cause i blew the airbox cause my gas backfired and now there is a spanner symbol next to how many K;s i have done. Does this mean it needs a service or what? i just got it fixed and it wasnt there b4. Thx

yeah the spanner icon comes on ever 10.000k's and is meant to advice u a service is due. to remove it turn the key to "on" and hold the trip button down for 9-11 seconds depending on wheather u drive an au1 or ef/el and it should beep and disapear. i cant remember which one is which. if after that long it doesn't go away try again and release it after that time to reset it. hope that helps

no just a recommended service interval has past in my el ya just turn to on and hold ya trip meter button for 10sec's and it goes
