On sunday i picked up a new hardtop for the ute, Ebay bargain, not a mark on it, almost new 715.00 with spoiler, one problem its charcoal grey, the utes only dirty, shes black, but so long as i lock our stuff up as we cross the nulabor i will get it painted in Brisbane.

Looks close as paint wise in the pic. Is it noriceable? I'd be tempted to leave it that way for a while.....

Im leaving it for now , but for some reason its more noticable at night, Moving to Brissy in OCtober so will look at gettin it sprayed once we've seetled in. Not in a rush, and cheers

Cheers though, tell me about the price, I was stoked, Dont think the guy who owned it before me was very happy about the finish of the auction.

On the ford website to purchase and have it fitted to a new car is 2710.00 to purchase and have fitted to your own car is 2933.00 so it was a really good saving

For now the money is going on moving all our stuff to brisbane, then when we're there I'll look at more mods, i know more people in Brissy so sourcing gear should be alot easier.

Mate, he'd be bloody p****d off BIGTIME! People flog them off for at least 1200 without the spoiler, and a s**t colour with scratches!!! You got yourself a MASSIVE bargain there... & it's factory!!! You can't buy cheapo one's for that price second hand!

Wanna see if i can get a set of leds in a moulding of some sort to fit under the spoiler and wire it up and the lid, for now though its in the too hard basket.
