i only got enough time to remove half the sound deading which ill finsh removing next weekend and ill make and install new extractor heat shield and hopefully install battery in boot.

And also finsh cut and polish on the engine bay(OMG i didn't think it was that dirty intill i wiped a rag with the cut and the rag just went black with a blue strip down the middle of the engine bay lol

Gates Racing for the blue radiator hoses.

CPC make a chrome overflow bottle cap - it's the standard part number with a C added to the end.

VHT are probably the best for high temeperature automotive paint.

im glad some on my wave lenght i thought gates did the radiator hoses and i think they also do the acc belts as well.

im going back to supercheap this week to get the overflow bottle cap just they were out of stock on the one i wanted.

i think VHT got the best paint for everything lol

ill give there paint a go on the extractors and see how they take it lol(i so see this flaking off in the period of 30 seconds LOL

I've painted exhaust heat shields with VHT and found the paint stayed on fine. Make sure you clean it properly before applying.

Gates also do do Racing belts - not sure if they make them for the Falcoons though as tehy definately don't make one to run my supercharger.

OUCH how much did repco slap ya for the hoses???

never liked repco there a rip off of a joint supercheap sells some of the same stuff for s**t load cheaper.
I normally go to coventrys for all my gear there cheaper and they look after me but they do lack on the performance gear and dress up gear side of things.

i think it was about $40 + for the belt
$60 + for the pair of hoses ..$5+each clamp..
i bought a pile of stuff at the same time,so im not 100%on the $..but im close.lol.
repco was cheaper than coventry ,most other stores didnt have the blu gates stuff..
but i have noticed repco can be $5 - $10 more than some auto stores .
on some item,,but then cheaper on others ,it pays to shop around.
a lot of stores would get the race stuff in ,but cost was more ..

dave ..
