Hey guys just removed the front bumper, and I'm wondering is this the air bag sensor? Am I safe to unplug the sensor, will the airbag go off in my face when I turn the car on? Safe to unplug the air bag fuse too?

If this isn't the air bag sensor(s), where are they? And is it safe to drive around without the bumper and not having to worry about the sensor(s) being triggered? Ta

No
Thats the ambient air temp sensor.
removal of this will only make the climate control module assume the outside air temp is 21deg c.

The Crash Sensor is a epoxy filled box (about 6cm sq) thats mounted on the radiator support panel.

Phew, I'll just leave the mofo alone.

So there is no risk of setting off the air bag sensor with the bumper removed? Lest I crash the car ofcourse, lol.
