anti seize. im tippin you mean the bit that slides on the input shaft?

Yeah, the clutch throwout bearing, thrust bearing, whatever they call it this week :)

Mine gets very sticky after 3-4 months since regreasing and has always repeated the problem. I've been using the high temp bearing grease successfully in all my previous cars for over 10 years and have only had troubles with the various 5 speed borg warner boxes in the E-series fords so I was guessing it may need a different lubricant.

This arvo i'll get a second mortgage on my home and go buy a tub of copper anti-sieze and try that this weekend.
