sorry dude. couldnt help it.

once you remove the torque converter bolts you should just be able to wiggle the gearbox and it should jump off from the engine (make sure you have a trolly jack securely under the gearbox).

also make sure the car is jacked up high enough to pull the gearbox out (as the bellhousing is pretty high and cannot be easily seperated from the gearbox)

good luck with it dude

p.s with the torque converter bolts you may need to put a socket and bar on the harmonic balancer (belt pully) in order to loosen the torque converter bolts as the flywheel will just rotate otherwise.

This would have to be the longest auto to manual conversion in history. I didnt think the test matches started until summer?

This thread is a f**k classic!!!

You obviously have f**k all idea of what you're doing....if you did you would know the tailshaft ain't gonna turn unless the back wheels are off the ground, no matter WHAT rear wheel drive vehicle it is

And HSV are more "modern" because you can access all 4 tailshaft bolts?? Riiiiiight.....

Doesn't anyone under 25 know hwo to speak proper English? You all write in f**k code that I would expect 8 year olds to do...

LOL This thread really made me laugh...it's a keeper for sure!
