Ride: ED Futrua Classic - Manual

Location: Sydney
NSW, Australia

i need to get my engine fixed/replaced ... i appear to have cracked the head, so not being too mechanically minded, i thought id ask ... is $2100 a fair price for a reco motor, supplied and fitted with 3yrs warranty??

better still, can anyone point me in the right direction to get it fixed in sydney?


any help would be greatly appreciated!

For an ED... I'd just grab a second hand motor and drop it in

should only cost about $1200 to do that.. even cheaper if you shop around.. :wink:

yeh $2100 for a recod ed motor is a bit expensive. If you really like the car and want to keep it for a few years then the 3 yr warranty sounds pretty good. But then again you could just buy another ed for that price!

u can get a modified au motor to fit your ed for 700, im sure u could fit it yourself or take it to a mechanic to swap them over shouldn't cost more then 300 to swap the two
