Bordertown is on the highway. I actually live in town but work out of town.

Shes a stocker mate. Has had a recent rebuild tho and its the only part of the car (the head and rocker cover) thats not Tickford.
BTW Just got it back from the Panel Beaters having the two spots of rust about the size of a 10cent piece and a small dent in the rear quarter fixed.

Had it on the dyno by any chance?
Any chance you've got any other pics? say interior, engine bay, maybe some good external shots? Also its an EB1.. is it pre-smartlock? What about reg? how are the tires on the old rims? How much work for a roadie do you think (VIC, not SA..)? |

How much work for a roadie do you think (VIC, not SA..)? Got the dyno sheet to say 100 rwkw As far as other pics: I'm workin on that..camera is playing up No it is not pre smartlock Two tyres on the old rims are about 90% the other tow are plain worn out (not from burnouts tho) and the spare is ~legal. As far as a rwc goes the only things I can think of is the horn doesn't work due to the wheel but I still have the standard wheel. The centre is the problem. It also is lacking an engine fan as I was always going to fit thermos but haven't gotton that far. If I have to drive it anywhere that requires a fan I usually pinch the fans from my ute as we changed the radiator so it would bolt straight in. All the wiring is there for the fans but operates from a switch inside the car rather than a thermo switch. PM sent

Just a few quick q's, might help other people looking at it too...
The front seats - are they standard with seat covers or aftermarket units? if aftermarket are the standard ones available? How many km's has it done? is the running gear original bar the motor (reco'd original motor yeah?) The LSD. Any ideas on how tight/worn it is? I've got same setup in mine from factory and its pretty worn, can feel it single spin on the weight transisitions - does it get that or does it seem OK? Whats that black checker plate skirt type thingies? How are they attatched? ie if removed are they gonna leave holes in the paintwork? Reg - how much reg is left on it? |

The front seats are stock S-Pack but have always had seat covers on them (as the have in the pic.) No rips tears, wear marks or stains on any of the seats..
All original with a shade under 300,000ks but the way it drives you wouldn't know it. I completely rebuilt the suspension at around 260 odd. Tightned the handling right up again. Gear box makes no extra noises and still shifts sweet as. All Ks are country ks by the way (better for a cars longevity than short trips down to the shopping centre.) The LSD is still as good as the day I bought the car. Have never had it open up a single wheel. The stoneguards on the sides are attatched from underneath using self tappers, so if you were to remove them there would be no visible holes, and to fill the holes, simply put the screws back in after removal. These were put on because it is a country car so it saw a few gravel roads. It only has a months rego on it at the moment but the rego will be renewed next month regardless of sale. Hope this helps EDIT: just noticed in my original add that I didn't put in that this car was on gas. The system was removed as it was an old inefficient system and the tank was out of date. All the wiring etc has been removed but the fill point (which is behind the fuel filler flap: cost extra to put it there rather than cut a hole in the side) and the main line from the boot through to the engine bay is still there. Most importantly, the fitters plate is still under the bonnet so it would be possible to refit a gas ssytem to the car with very little fuss.
