Hey guys been a while since i have logged onto this site.. lost abit of interest wen i lost my licence i guess. but Bam its nearly been 6 months and time to start pondering about mods..

basicly what i am after with my car is.
1. A lil faster than average
2. Sounds Good
3. Looks good

what i have been considering without spending too much of my apprentice wage lol is these mods.

High Stall
Shift Kit
LSD (with some decent gears that im not sure on)
exhaust/headers/K&N Pannel Filter

i have to buy a new diff because my standard 1 is on its last legs so why not go the custom gears haha :)

any thoughts about all of this?

i would love a XR6 Turbo Uterus but being 20 lost my licence twice their is not a hope in hell im going to get insurance.[/list]

get extractors and exhaust first than K&N filter and larger intake snorkel, thats always a good start, will have your car going heaps better and will have a nice tone to it...
LSD and 4:11 diff gears and a 2500 stall is a good combo but dont expect to get good fuel economy but your will go hard...

i agree with gettin the zorst and CAI first. i personally wouldnt bother with a stally unless u had your tranny upgraded and a reflash would be in good order there too.

should also think about just gettin xr6 ecu and head maybe

I would highly reccomend the stall, I've got a 2700 in mine, and under general driving, it's almost as tight as a stocker - it's very entertaining.

i also recommend getting a hi stall, my 2500 rpm stall is hardly even noticeable under normal driving conditions and has made a huge difference, takes off hard now, you will need a tranny cooler though if you get a stallie

I personally wouldn't bother with this stuff, not enough difference to justify how much it's going to cost.

Do the mods you originally outlined, and your car will be much quicker.
