It will, but you cannot run the 302C heads. The compression ratio will be much too high. A set of open chamber heads (or better still aftermarket alloys) are the only way it will work.

Not too sure what is available in Tas but try High Performance World in Sydney for Eagle, Scat try VPW or Rockets.

YES if 351 can go that far a 302C can as they are the same block......
The issue will be compression if using 302 heads...

Any reasons against the edelbrocks?

Pavtek sell these kits cheap and I'm sure I was reading somewhere another company is close $ wise too.

CHI's make them look like s**t for a start. There is quite simply no reason to buy cleveland heads that aren't made in Australia. CHI's and AFD's are far superior.

Thats fair enough, apparently these ones are a new version to the old edelbrocks. Not too sure how they measure up. If I was going for aftermarket heads I would go the CHI's also.

i went the 393 stroker kit a little bit safer dont want to push the boundries to the limit best to leave a little room to move and i went the CHI 3V 218cc ported ,awsome bloody awsome topped off with Funnel web manifold and 850 mighty demon carb...nothing but smiles from me.......there are a few things that you will want to do to your block before assembling her ,main one's being have her decked and crack tested, bores measuered you will need a good block to start a project like this or your money might turn out to be a very expencive boat anchour if it lets go.....
