i hav a series 2 au fairlane with the 5 litre v8 in it,it has had new plugs leads etc fitted and it has a shake in the engine,trans was removed and found to have a knackered torqueows or has had same prob please let me know suspect the cmp,please if any 1 knoconvertor,trans and convertor was replaced but the shake is still there,has any 1 else had this problem?we have tried almost everything but are starting to suspect cmp sensor,if any1 has had this problem please let me know as i am at my wits end

Vaccum leak would be my first thaught, Get a can of aerostart and spray it over the vaccum and intake hoses while she is idling. If the revs go up when u spray a certain spot odds are thats where your vaccum leak is.

My au ute has and still has the same problem, heres my line of activity... Trans rooted was rebuilt ... harmonic balancer shagged....coil pack intermittent fault.....its been all good but the last couple of weeks its started again so this topic is also a great help to me. next step is air flow meter IM told
